DRYING ROOMS & SPRAY BAKE

Drying Rooms

Usually attached directly to the spraying area our Drying Rooms are built using the same modular concept as our Extraction Systems.  The main difference is the Air Movement and sometimes additional heating.

An unheated room simply draws filtered air from your workshop. The air passes over the painted product and this 'Drives out' the moisture from the curing product.

Correctly sized in-built extraction then removes the Humid Air and assists in reducing the Drying Times.

Sometimes this process can be accelerated by adding a raised temperature.  To do this we would also fit a HARU (Heated Air Replacement Unit).

Heating systems are available using:

  • Gas
  • LPG
  • Oil
  • Electric

The basic HARU options are up to 40 Deg C and up to 80 Deg C (over this temperature you would typically require an oven).  All temperature control is fully adjustable by a Digital Temperature Controller.

Once we know what your paint or process specifications are we can design the system around it.

Spray Bake Rooms

These single, multi-purpose rooms are used for the Preparation, Masking, Spraying and Baking (Drying) of the product.

Though commonly used in the Automotive Sector they are also very useful where space is a premium for the more 'low volume' customer.

Once the work piece is painted the operator leaves the spray room and switches the room to 'Bake' mode.  After a pre-set time the room then automatically cools itself and the operator can return to the room to carry on.

These room always have a matched HARU.

Heating systems are available using:

  • Gas
  • LPG
  • Oil
  • Electric

As standard a Spray Bake room works at any temperature up to 80 Deg C.  All temperature control is fully adjustable by a Digital Temperature Control.
