Powder Coating Oven, Spray Booth and Clean Room Installation Works at Unitruck

The team at Bostec recently designed, installed and commissioned a new product finishing line for specialist aftermarket truck parts manufacturer Unitruck. With headquarters based near to us in Manchester, the company has thirty years of experience in the manufacture and distribution of truck mirrors, lighting assemblies and components, supplied to the heavy and light commercial vehicle industry worldwide. With an ethos for quality, and daughter companies in Spain and the United States, Unitruck share our passion for complete customer satisfaction, and were a client that we were thrilled to work with in the supply and installation of a new solution for their product finishing.

Completed and commissioned earlier in the year, from CAD concept to reality, the new plant installed at Unitruck facilities consisted of a clean room with extraction, a waterback extract spray room, a gas heated curing oven with Lanemark burner, and a Niko manually operated overhead conveyor system for product conveyance. The complete system covers a space of 130 square metres and includes a new production flow, separating the cleaning area from the painting area. Now operational for a number of months, the line is used by the company in the finishing process of their mirrors, lights and other specialist truck components, replacing older and less efficient works. The new plant is a significant upgrade allowing them to at least quadruple their output, whilst only doubling the space that the new plant covers.
